Alan konusunu öğretirken öğrenme fırsatları oluşturmada öğretmenin rolü

Öz


Bu çalışmanın amacı, matematik dersinde öğrenme fırsatlarının yaratılması ve değerlendirilmesi noktasında öğretmenin rolünü pedagojik, pedagojik alan ve alan bilgisi çerçevesinde değerlendirmektir. 18 kişilik bir sınıfta 5.sınıf programında yer alan “alan” konusu aynı zamanda araştırmacı olan iki öğretmen tarafından işlenmiş, sınıfiçi tartışmaları öğretmenler haricinde bir gözlemci tarafından video kaydına alınıp takip edilmiştir. Araştırmacılar video transkriptlerini bağımsız olarak analiz edip öğrenme fırsatlarının oluştuğu durumları tespit etmişler ve bir araya gelip ortak değerlendirmelerde bulunmuşlardır. Yapılan analizlerde, öğrenme fırsatlarının yaratılmasında pedagojik, pedagojik alan ve alan bilgisinin yanı sıra her hangi bir kavramı basitleştirme ve konular arası bağlantı kurmanın da etkili olduğu ve bu fırsatların değerlendirilebilmesi için öğretmen yeterliklerinin koordineli bir şekilde kullanılması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Dolayısıyla, öğretmenlerin öğrenme fırsatları yaratma konusunda farkındalıklarının artması için bunları deneyimleyebilecekleri ortamların yaratılması ve profesyonel işbirliklerinin kurulması önemlidir.
